We have an exciting opportunity for a Paralegal to join our Private Property team in our Bristol office. In the role you will gain exposure to high quality, Residential Property transactions.
Day to Day Responsibilities
You will be working on a wide range of property purchases, sales, transfers of equity and mortgage related work, dealing with both freehold and leasehold properties.
We deal with a broad range of property types, to include high value urban property, large rural properties, listed buildings and unregistered property. You will have plenty of client contact, with clients who choose to instruct us to benefit from a high quality, tailored service and you will develop your client relationship skills to meet their expectations.
Initially supporting more senior colleagues with discrete tasks, you will build your experience to be able to run your own transactions (subject to supervision). Using our file management software you should quickly be able to develop your experience and legal skills. The work will include:
- Production of contract packages
- Drafting transfer documents and deeds of covenant
- Searches at the land registry, local authority, utility companies
- Assisting with collecting and analysing anti -money laundering and source of funding documentation
- Land registry applications and SDLT returns
- Liaising with clients, estate agents and lenders

About You
You may have some experience within property law from your academic studies or recent work experience. To be successful in this role, you will have a genuine passion in assisting clients and pursuing a career in this area.
